Why Canyoning Is Exactly What Your Team Needs

Located in Squamish, just 50 minutes from Vancouver, West Coast Canyoning Adventures (WCCA) offers a unique team-building experience that builds collaboration, communication, and leadership. Step out of the office and into a breathtaking rainforest, where your team will explore turquoise pools, granite cliffs, and lush, fern-filled canyons.

With certified instructors leading the way, your group will take on thrilling challenges—rappelling waterfalls, scrambling over rocky terrain, and, for the bold, leaping into crystal-clear pools.

Waiver & Booking Process

Once your trip is confirmed, every participant will receive our Waiver and Release Agreement by email through our booking system. It must be completed and signed before the trip — no exceptions. Participants under 19 require a parent or guardian signature.

The waiver covers three things:

  • Release of liability and acknowledgment of inherent risk — canyoning involves moving water, swimming, jumping, rappelling, and exposure to a wilderness environment. We ask every guest to read this carefully.

  • Medical history and emergency contact information — so our guides can plan appropriately and respond quickly if needed.

  • Equipment sizing — height, weight, shoe size, and helmet/wetsuit fit so we can have the right gear ready on the day.
