West Coast Canyoning is always looking to connect with skilled, passionate canyoning guides — professionals who share our commitment to safety, craft, and exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
To be considered, candidates must hold:
A recognized Canyoning Guide Certification (through WCCA or an approved training body)
Wilderness First Responder — 80 hours (Lead Guides)
Wilderness First Aid — 40 hours (Assistant Guides)
Swiftwater Rescue Technician (SRT) certification
Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (we work regularly with youth)
Our Process
Onboarding Training → Qualified candidates are invited to our season-opening training — a hands-on assessment of technical skills, professionalism, and cultural fit before joining the roster.
Trip Assignments → Guides who are a strong match receive casual trip assignments to start. Additional opportunities develop from there based on performance, crew integration, and commitment to our standards.
We believe that building a strong, cohesive team is key to providing exceptional canyoning experiences — and we’re looking for individuals who share that commitment.
